Packaging on a Cloud…

We are always keen to ensure our customers benefit from the best rates. We work with approved couriers to deliver next day deliveries for many clients: the problem has been that as deliveries pass through hubs and depots the level of breakages haven’t been acceptable.

In an ideal world we would like to have no breakages but we understand this simply isn’t going to happen… so instead we have been trialling a new packaging system called ‘Airpack’.
    
The Airpack system wraps products in a container that is then filled with compressed air: putting the delivery in a safe, sealed ‘bubble’ that is capable of standing up to the rigours of parcel networks.

At this point we haven’t had a single breakage, providing the Airpack system is another way we hope our clients can see that Belvedere Warehousing & Distribution care.

The effect of the additional throughput has seen us have to increase our distribution capacity; we have done this by increasing our fleet of vehicles and drivers.
